About Take Notes

Take Notes is a ministry leadership companion built for one purpose: helping church leaders lead with wisdom, confidence, and healthy boundaries. Ministry is a calling, but it is also work — and too many leaders carry that work alone, without training, feedback, or a safe place to think out loud. This app exists to change that.

What it does

Take Notes pairs biblical guidance with practical leadership tools. A guided study workflow helps you build faithful, well-researched teaching notes. The Boundary Builder, Difficult Conversations planner, Weekly Check-In, and Meeting Planner walk you through the real, everyday moments of ministry — saying no with grace, preparing for hard conversations, checking your own pulse, and running meetings that actually move things forward.

Who it is for

It is made for new and growing ministry leaders — associate pastors, youth and group leaders, church planters, deacons, and volunteers stepping into responsibility for the first time — as well as seasoned leaders who want a trusted companion for the moments Scripture calls shepherding. Whether you lead a team of five or a congregation of five hundred, the tools meet you where you are.

Who builds it

Take Notes was created by me, Ann Sweezer Rogers: an assistant pastor, educator, and leader with more than 20 years of leadership experience. I understand what it feels like to be called to lead while still learning, growing, and navigating the real challenges that come with serving others.

I created this app to provide the kind of practical, biblical guidance I believe every leader deserves. Each tool is designed to help you lead with greater wisdom and confidence while continually pointing you back to Scripture, godly community, and the God who called you.

Take Notes provides practical guidance and leadership training, but it is not a substitute for pastoral counseling. When you need the support of a pastor, counselor, mentor, or trusted spiritual leader, I encourage you to reach out to them directly.

Our promise: guidance that is rooted in Scripture, honest about the weight of leadership, and always aimed at helping you finish the race well.
